Songs of the Phoenix: Psalms, Praise, Rhythm & Rhyme

Songs of the Phoenix is a selection of rhythm and rhyme encompassing over three decades. My passion for poetry, reading, and writing began very early on. Enchanted by the fluidity and expressiveness of poetry I was compelled to delve into the mystical and magical realm of wordsmiths extraordinaire as they wove tales of love, woe, victory and defeat with equal aplomb. My first rudimentary poems were written in the first grade. This fascination continued throughout my teenage years and well into my early adulthood. It was during my mid-twenties however that a deliberate, critical and conscious decision was made to archive my literary creations hoping to someday publish thereby sharing my craft witha broader audience. I've written short stories and inspirational verse yet poetry remained my greatest passion. Songs of the Phoenix showcases a variety of literary styles. It's an opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream. It also affords a chance to share an intimate insight of my life, love, spirituality, sexuality and sensuality. I'm deeply humbled and honored to share that which I'm passionate about, inspired by and dedicated to.
