Artisans and Entrepreneurs of Dongyang County: Economic Reform and Flexible Production in China

This volume looks at the production of Chinese wood furniture under the socio-economic conditions of the People's Republic of China. It is a continuation of research begun by the author in Hong Kong in the early 1970s among expatriate artisan furniture makers and woodcarvers from Dongyang.
